Starters
David De Gea 8/10
Didn’t have much to do but was very reliable when called upon. Made some very good saves during a spell of pressure from the hosts.
Aaron Wan-Bisakka 8.5/10
A positive performance from the young full-back. Played Greenwood in to score and was a presence on United’s right.
Victor Lindelof 7.5/10
A decent performance from the Swede. Tracked Brighton’s forwards well and looked very composed throughout.
Harry Maguire 8/10
Strong performance overall from the skipper. Organized the defence well and was good with his distribution.
Luke Shaw 7.5/10
Had a good game defensively and showed excellent movement and link-up play with Marcus Rashford on United’s left flank.

Nemanja Matic 9/10
Another excellent performance from the Serb. He provided a perfect outlet from defence into midfield and played a brilliant ball to find Greenwood in the build-up to United’s third goal.
Paul Pogba 8/10
The latest in a string of steady performances from the Frenchman. Was a presence in midfield and set up Bruno Fernandes to score.
Bruno Fernandes 9.5/10
An excellent physical performance from the Portuguese fan favourite. Concerns about his physical condition were immediately dismissed as he put in a fantastic performance, scoring two brilliant goals.
Marcus Rashford 7/10
Didn’t score but did some excellent work on United’s left linking up with Shaw. The wait for his 20th goal of the season continues.
Anthony Martial 5.5/10
A stark contrast to his last Premier League outing. Didn’t pose a threat to Brighton’s defence and failed to register a single shot.
Mason Greenwood 9/10
His best performance in a United shirt till date. Took his goal brilliantly and picked out Fernandes with an inch-perfect cross for United’s third. An exciting prospect and he seems to be making that third spot in United’s front three his own.
