“Rashford is the most talented player I’ve played with” – Harry Maguire

The Red devil’s captain has hailed his current teammate, Marcus Rashford, as the most talented player he has played with.

Harry Maguire has had spells at Hull City and Sheffield in his career. He also spent two years playing for Leicester City before his move to Old Trafford last summer for a reported £80 million fee.

The Englishman has also been capped by The Three Lions 26 times. He has played with some very talented players in his career so far.

He’s however selected Rashford as the most talented of them all. Rashford had been in fine form for the club, scoring 14 league goals in 22 appearances, The club’s top scorer.

He was then sidelined with a back injury back in January and hasn’t played for the club since then.

Maguire called Rashford a “wonderful player” and strongly feels that the young Englishman will become a future leader for United.

“On the pitch, like I said, he’s amazed me.” the defender told The Official Manchester United Podcast.

“He’s the most talented player I’ve ever played with and I’m sure he’s going to be a wonderful player for this club.”

“I think as a club, you should have a captain and rely on him, but you need to spread the onus of the leadership in the group”

Maguire also noted the charity work Rashford gets involved in as an example of his leadership qualities.

Rashford is already one of Manchester United’s most important players. The Red Devils captain, however, believes he can get even better.

“I don’t want to put too much pressure on him but I think he’s going to be a wonderful player for Manchester United, as he is now.”

“I think he’s going to go on to have an exceptional career.”

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would certainly love to have Rashford back if the Premier League returns from its suspension.
