Timothy Fosu-Mensah set to complete £1.5million move to Bayer Leverkusen

After rejecting a Manchester United contract offer, Timothy Fosu-Mensah is set to complete a move to Bayer Leverkusen.

This is according to informed sources that have told Man Utd Central that the 23-year-old wants to grow and develop in the Bundesliga.

The likes of Jadon Sancho, Emile Smith Rowe and Jude Bellingham have all played in Germany’s first division with varying success and Fosu-Mensah believes his best chance of succeeding at the top level requires a move away from Old Trafford.

Leverkusen will pay United a fee of £1.5million after they beat the likes of Ajax and Hertha Berlin to his signature.
